However, it's probably also not marketed as being Vietnamese, which is an issue :(Richhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12758040731026166149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4967775190974226615.post-55782373490225963882010-08-18T10:29:23.120-07:002010-08-18T10:29:23.120-07:00RTea,

This tea seems to be associated with a branch of Trung Nguyen, probably the most famous and visible coffee company in Vietnam. As a result, this oolong is probably the most heavily marketed. No wonder we shared in the same tea!

What is interesting about oolong tea Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02736984697520031171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4967775190974226615.post-31640475768192325072010-08-18T09:14:21.173-07:002010-08-18T09:14:21.173-07:00Thanks Matt! Pretty cool that you got to try Vietnamese tea in Vietnam, and that one of the teas you bought is the same as the one I got (I think that Tam Chau is the major brand here - there are only a few other Vietnamese teas that I've seen, but they aren't as widely distributed). For the price, though, it is definitely a good value.

EnjoyRichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12758040731026166149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4967775190974226615.post-6577994289978350812010-08-18T08:58:18.985-07:002010-08-18T08:58:18.985-07:00RTea,

Let's start with: what kind of tastes/flavors do you like? Do you like something that is more akin to espresso or to a green tea? What about texture: malty and deep, or light and "slippery?"Richhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12758040731026166149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4967775190974226615.post-91104875413939314032010-08-11T23:31:09.638-07:002010-08-11T23:31:09.638-07:00In the past I haven't really enjoyed Oolong te...In the past I haven't really enjoyed Oolong tea, do you have any recommendations how to serve it and what to eat with it? perhaps I need to give it another try?Tamarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14635416571278107397noreply@blogger.com
